Armed Forces, Families and Veterans Day

Littlehampton Town Council is delighted to announce that this year’s Armed Forces Families and Veterans Day event will take place on the Seafront Greens on Saturday 27 June 2026.

Join us from 10:30 for a FREE action-packed day to celebrate and honour those that serve and have served in the Armed Forces.

This free, action-packed event promises to live up to its reputation as the best on the South Coast, with live displays, military history, street food and a packed programme for all the family.

The day kicks off with a Parade at 10:30, led by the Cadets Massed Band and supported by local uniformed groups including the Army Cadets, Sea Cadets, Air Cadets, Scouts and the Nautical Training Corps. Please note road closures will be in place between 10:15 and 11:00

This year's entertainment includes two performances from the returning Stannage Stuntworld International Display Team, the Littlehampton debut of the Tigers Motorcycle Display Team, and music from the Rose and Thistle Pipe Band and The Vintage Trio.

The afternoon builds to a spectacular close with a BBMF Spitfire Flypast, Sunset Service and the All-Clear Siren.

Service charities and uniformed groups will be on hand throughout the day, giving you the chance to find out more about their work and win prizes at their fundraising stalls. The event is in aid of the Royal British Legion and a collection will be in place.

On site street food vendors include Crocus Paella, Street Food Revolution, Kalamaki Food Truck and Scouts Naafi Tent, alongside the range of establishments along the seafront. Harbour Park will be open all day and is offering a Service Family discount.
