Love Local Arts – Step into Colour Exhibition

Image by Natasha, student at The Littlehampton Academy. Part of Corridor’s Step Into Colour exhibition on Littlehampton High Street.

Students from The Littlehampton Academy inject new colour into Littlehampton High Street this summer, presenting their imaginative photography in a pop-up exhibition with arts organisation Corridor. Charged with looking for moments of everyday magic, the students have been working with artist Annis Joslin to explore ways of making the high street feel more surprising or colourful through creative photography interventions. The empty shop front will be transformed by their eye-catching artwork filling the windows from floor to ceiling. These impressions by local young people reveal an exciting reflection of their aspirations for the place they live.

Corridor delivers participatory projects that connect artists with communities.

Launch Event – Saturday 31 July at 12:00

Official opening by the Mayor of Littlehampton and a very special performance by Chichester Festival Youth Theatre alongside the opening of our pop up photography exhibition, Step into Colour showcasing brilliant work by A-Level Photography students at The Littlehampton Academy.
