Attractions
There are so much going on in Littlehampton all year round, from outdoor nature pursuits, vibrant art and cultural attractions, to extreme outdoor activities, you are sure to find something to suit every taste.
East Beach
On the seafront you can find the high standard Harbour Park, a family friendly amusement park featuring indoor and outdoor attractions for a family day out.
Why not invite your family and friends to join you on the ultimate powerboat ride with Action Boat? They offer high speed adrenaline rides, fast trips to Brighton Marina, Chichester Harbour and more leisurely local trips up the beautiful River Arun.
If your thing is outdoor sports then get in touch with Inspire Leisure, who provide a range of fun activities along the seafront which include putting greens, adventure golf and funsize and adult tennis courts! Inspire Leisure also have an indoor pool located near the award winning Mewsbrook Park open all year round.
You can also take a ride on Littlehampton's very own promenade train, or take a short walk into Norfolk Gardens where you can hop onto their miniature train there and explore Mewsbrook Park and its boating lake.

The Oyster Pond (near Harbour Park) is now a stunning ornamental lake with picnic facilities along its green sloping banks. Once upon a time the pond was used by local fishermen to store their catch of local lobsters and oysters, and in the 1920s and 30s it became the peaceful spot we now know and love, where children used to sail their model yachts. Today visitors can enjoy the Oyster Pond on hired pedalos or canoes.
West Beach
A beautiful flat sand and shingle beach and Local Nature Reserve, West Beach is approached from Ferry Road on the West bank of the River Arun. A Site of Special Scientific Interest, it is an ideal spot for a more relaxed beach experience. Whilst you are there try looking for wildflowers, sharks egg cases or spotting waders and other species of birds.
The beach also forms part of a gentle walk along to Clymping Beach, with great views of the South Downs to the north, and Littlehampton seaside resort and River Arun to the east.
